Office 2010 STD.  Need 64 bit install files
I have volume licensing for Office STD 2010.  I have downloaded the install files from the Microsoft Volume Licensing website.  When I explore the files included in the download, there are no 64bit install files.  How can I get them from the Volume Licensing site?

Hi BBLOOM,

Which version of Windows are you using? Before install Office 2010 x64-bit you need to check if your computer is running a supported x64-bit Windows version. You can only install Office 2010 x64-bit if you are running an x64-bit Windows version.

And you should know Office 2010 Click-to-Run can be installed in a 64-bit Windows version but the Office architecture will be only 32-bit. This behavior is by design.

  1. Please go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/microsoft-office-2010-backup-FX101853122.aspx
  2. Sign into or create a new Windows Live account.
  3. Put in your Product Key, select Language and enter the correct Captcha.
  4. Confirm order details. (You can order a backup DVD this way as well)
  5. (Do NOT click on Download) Select the Advanced Options that is listed below the Download link.
  6. Select 64-Bit to begin the download for the 64-bit installer.

Any updates please let me know, I'm glad to help and follow up your reply.
